2016 Chaparral 246SSI NOTE: I will take care of the fee to Chaparral giving you, according to them, the same warranty as if you bought this boat new from a Chaparral dealer. That means buying it from me is the same as buying it from a dealer who gave a few test drives and ran 9 hours up on the meter. Buyer's remorse sale. This was my first stern drive boat and I don't like it. I have to call this boat used because it was transferred but this boat is as close to new as you can get without paying a lot more to a dealer. Take a look around and you'll see I'm the best value on a 246 ssi even if you go back a couple of years! I took delivery three weeks ago and ran it 4 times (under 10 hours on the engine, break-in procedures followed). This boat has the 300 hp Volvo Penta GEN 5 engine with duo prop which is more powerful and more fuel efficient than all that came before it. The best part is the closed cooling (like your car's engine) which makes winterization as easy as it is with a 4 stroke outboard (which doesn't get any easier). Scroll down about 2/3 for a direct comparison chart where you will find the gen V is quicker and more fuel efficient that just last year's same 300 hp model. Save several thousand over new. The original MSRP is over 87000. Of course nobody pays that but I'm still many thousands below what your local dealer will want.
