1987 CHB 42 Aft Cabin Trawler CHB Trawlers were built and branded under a half dozen or more names and are ubiquitous on the used boat market. This CHB 42 design has been popular because of its spaciousness and versatility. What makes this a special boat and one you want to buy are price and condition! The seller reports he has invested over $250,000 in this boat. Since 2006 he has restored, repaired, re-powered, upgraded and improved the boat constantly, continuing to add new navigational equipment as recently as this fall. It's large enough to be used comfortably as a live-aboard yet with a single recently-installed modern engine it's efficient and affordable to operate yielding 1.5 gallons per hour on a 2011 Alaska trip. The bottom on this vessel has been peeled and epoxy coated creating a smooth surface today. Similar brands include C&L Trawlers, Puget Trawlers, and Ponderosa. And she even compares well to a Grand Banks for space and amenities, at a much lower cost. It is also a new enough version to not be heavily loaded with exterior teak. Taking into account condition, equipment and recent upgrades this boat is an extraordinary value! These boat details are subject to contract.Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.

1979 CHB 45 Pilothouse Trawler This CHB 45 Pilothouse Trawler is great design for Northwest boating in all seasons. The raised pilothouse provides terrific visibility while underway. The boat appears to have had excellent care, and the owners have made some very attractive additions with the pilothouse settee and the bar in the salon. She has been cruised extensively in the Portland Oregon area and has been up the Columbia River into Idaho...The engine compartment is well-organized and clean. The Perkins engines were installed new in 1998 and show evidence of good care (see photos!). Extras include an Onan generator and Espar heat. During winters the sellers have kept the boat in covered fresh water moorage. A great live aboard vessel as demonstrated by the owners living on the boat during the past ten summers. These boat details are subject to contract.Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
