The overall condition was impeccable, gel coat mirrors surroundings, stainless steel appointments sparkle, teak well maintained, outdrive and prop gleam, seating in better condition, helm kept in classic condition, aft sun pad with no tears, bow sun pad with no tears, engine appeared clean and maintained. Stock #401127 This vessel was SOLD on May 16. The All American Classic in Boating is the name Chris Craft. A true blue beauty is the Launch 25 for sale in North Carolina near Lake Norman. The stunning hull in midnight blue with a riveria red stripe is designed with an aft reflecting the striking 1930s curved designs reminiscent of the era of roadsters. It became a trademark of Chris Craft's Tumblehome aft style. Memorable are the well-maintained teak full deck rail, teak swim platform, and interior features in the Launch 25. A walk-over stern is in the teak and starboard and portside is a teak step to provide a safe entry into the cockpit from the dock. Very clever feature. There are internal scuppers and stainless drains for the self-bailing cockpit. The length overall with the swim platform is 25'4", the Centerline length is 23'8", the waterline length is 21'8", the trailerable weight is 6,183 lbs. deadrise is 20 degrees. height overall is 5'9" Every detail for a day on the water is obvious in the spacious deck outlined with L shaped seating. The fold-down bimini has its own space designed into the aft for the bimini to be stored out of the sun and weather, photos demonstrate its location. The engine cover is electrically opened to a large Volvo Penta 8.1 L engine at 375 HP, with a closed cooling system. Corsa stainless captain's call through hull exhaust. The seller reports the boat is probable to salt water the first two years and the remainder years in fresh lake water. A cockpit refrigerator is convenient and has a custom switch nearby to turn on the unit. Across is a lift-up sink station with availability of 9 gallons of water. A head with a privacy enclosure is onboard. The bow has lounge seating with grab rails and tucked-in beverage holders. The anchor is straight away with a stainless steel rode/windlass. A custom LED light has been installed for needed illumination on retracting the stainless steel claw anchor. A teak board with the iconic brand name and Chris Craft Burgee and brightware bow sculpted light with cleat provide function and decor. The Ensign on the transom also comes with the sale. The glove box and helm are paneled in a print from the traditional 1930s art deco color companions of forest green, red, black, and creme, with layers of olive in a simple diamond pinpoint pattern. The gauge designs are in the 1930s font styles presenting the well-thought-out overall designs of Chris Craft that extend into every corner of the watercraft. This is not an ordinary bowrider but a fast-planing cruiser with traditional and classic American designs that last over lifetimes with the strength of higher-grade functionality which is another reflection of the American way. The local and visiting consultant was really impressed having the opportunity to see this listing in person. The interior, cushion, bench seats were in very nice condition free from any wear or tears. The exterior was shiny, there are areas that could use some TLC with finish. The bottom and seams would be do for caulking and sanding. Stock #247172 Rare classic Chris Craft Capri. Original Thunderbolt engine, Mahogany Wood. Looking for a piece of history, 1955 Chris-Craft Capri 21, which is the rarer version than the smaller option that Chris-Craft built. The vessel is powered by the original engine MBL Inboard that produces 158HP. Direct drive with shaft and bronze propeller. The seller has set the price point almost half of what similar vessels in this age and size have been sold for. The seller understands this vessel will need some TLC to bring back to full glory. The vessel is equipped with the soaker hose that allows for water to be run through-out the hull to allow the wood planks to swell to give the watertight seal. The forward sport light will need to be re-installed but is present and the original. The seller advised due to the prep with the hull and this boat not been in the water for a few seasons. Can not include a water trial as part of the inspection. Also the ignition switch was vandalized and removed, so unable to turn over the engine, please be aware when submitting your offer. 1967 Chris - Craft Custom Built,JUST IN TIME FOR FALL FISHING - I am selling my "one-of-a-kind" fishing machine. This beauty was hand build by a Master Marine Builder in NC. He started with a super strong 1967 Chris-Craft Commander hull then built the pilot house and coffin style cabin using a combination of fiberglass and aluminum. She features a wide 10'2" beam, a 300 HP 454 engine, Radar, NAVMAN GPS Tracker, Northstar fish/depth sounder, (2) VHF radios, a power amped 6 peaker plus subwoofer AM/FM stereo, (6) rod holders (not counting the rocket launcher), (2) Cannon Downriggers, ancher, chain and rod, windlass, duel batteries with battery switch and on-board chargers, (2) captain chairs with fold up leaning pads and foot rests, custom bow and engine cover cushions and a new "T-Top" brand sunshade that covers the entire aft of the boat just the thing for family cruising. You really have to see this gal to appreciate the workmanship that went into building her. SHE IS SUPER STRONGand SUPER SAFE. The deck and swim platform just received a fresh coat of "Tuff-Coat" marine primer and non-skid paint. Contact me for more pictures or to schedule a time to come see her in person.
