Fully restored 1947 16' Chris Craft Rocket. These 16' special runabouts were built after the war and were constructed of cedar rather than mahogany due to a shortage of the wood.They were painted blue with the rocket painted on the side to help sell the boats. This boat is a true rocket with it's 350 replacing the original Hercules 6 she is scary fast! The sides and bottom have been glassed, the boat is in great condition and always stored indoors. Just rebuilt 283 20 minutes run time. Solid ribs and no rot. Very nice boat needs varnish work on the inside, new varnish on decks and transom. Good trailer. Owner is moving to Florida and is not taking it with him. Boat is located on the upper Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake bay.
