listing this for the owner who has decided it is time to move on. boat is a 36' Cigarette wide body that was originally built to be Don Aronow's personal boat for his return to racing but was sold and raced as SlapShot by Art Norris and Bobby Moore in '73 and '74. This boat has a rich offshore racing history and would be great to see restored back to its SlapShot scheme. boat is on the original trailer and is one of just a few of the original 36 wide bodies left. the boat is in great condition and was recently racing as 'the Dirty Pearl'. It has 6 new aluminum fuel tanks total 340 gal capacity. Total refit in 2007. the #4 speedmaster drives were rebuilt in 08 by TnT and only have a few hours on them. boat is being offered with out the engines as one lost a cam and is currently torn down. a deal could be done with the boat and trailer alone or with the engines in their current state. (the broken one has had the block honed and new pistons installed so it is a ready short block). if you are looking for a great historic boat then this is one of the last out there so don't miss out. he is asking $22,000 for the boat and trailer less the engines. boat is located in N. Georgia NE of Atlanta for questions you can contact me at 954-270-2628 (cell) [email protected]
