2004 Cobalt 246 2004 24' Cobalt with a 5.7GXI Volvo Penta with only 178 hours. It has 2 new battery cables and starter. This boat has a bimini top with bow and cockpit canvas. There's a walk-through transom and a walk-through windshield with a weather door as well, making movement throughout the boat effortless and bow seating with lots of storage in the floor and under the seats. Configured with two forward-facing captain's chairs and an L-lounge in the cockpit, the interior of the Cobalt 246 easily has room for six people. The captain's chairs rise and articulate to provide a comfortable view above the windshield. At the helm, instruments are illuminated and the leather-bound steering wheel tilts. There's a ventilated head compartment, a ski locker amidships, and an ice chest in the cockpit. The generous swim platform is served by a concealed ladder. There is a nice size head with a porta-potti, fresh water, L shaped aft seating with large aft sun pad, built in cooler, starboard bolster helm seats, lots of gauges including air and water temperatures. With a 6 speaker Sony stereo, ski pole, docking lights, dock fenders and lines, anchor, chain and rode and life jackets. This Cobalt has only been in fresh water. I bought it 5 years ago from the marina owner in Mountain Home Arkansas on Lake Norfolk, where it was well taken care of and enjoyed to the tune of 650 hours. I kept it at our lake house on Lake Lanier north of Atlanta for over 4 years and it was well taken care of and enjoyed to the tune of 100 hours. I recently moved to Ocala Fl and we now have the boat at our lake house on Lake Weir. Some of the many options are: Captains Call/Silent Choice Exhaust (!Sounds Awesome!), Dual Prop, Dock Lights, Dual Battery, Power Engine Cover, Bimini Top, Bow and Cockpit Covers, Swim Deck and Driver side remote controls for CD/XM Stereo and it has lifetime XM satellite radio. The best option and what makes this a very rare Cobalt 246 is the 8.1 Fuel Injected Big Block with 420 Horse Power. This was a $25k option when new. I just had the 100 hour service done per Cobalt specs by a certified Cobalt technician. This is a great boat in very good condition. It does have 752 hours and counting and it does not have a trailer.
