The overall condition of the boat appears to be very good. The owner says he has kept up routine maintenance and has records available. 2005 Cobalt 282, this classic 2005 boat as related to me from the previous owner was 1 of 5 custom built Cobalt boats with the big rumbling Mercury 496 ci MAG HO motors rated at 425 hp each for a total of 850 hp! Thats right, twin 8.1 liter Mercury engines mated to Mercruiser Bravo 1 outdrives with a 1.5 final gear ratio. This boat was factory tested to reach 69 mph per the specification test sheet. Not that you need anything to set yourself apart with this boats classic styling, the engines have the optional Captains Call exhaust if you desire to be noticed as you approach the dock. This boat is stunning in appearance, and the hull is in excellent shape as witnessed by the attached videos. Upholstery is almost perfect, done in white and ebony trim.
