1976 Chesapeake 41 Bay Deadrise Custom Built in 1976 by the well-known Chesapeake Bay Deadrise designer and builder, O'Neil Jones, "Dutchess" is the "real deal" for anyone looking to purchase an actual Chesapeake Bay Deadrise. She is a simple boat with few systems to maintain, but she does come equipped with a finished cabin that includes a comfortable v-berth and fixed head. She is powered by a single Caterpillar 415hp 3208 diesel with reportedly 600 hours since major overhaul, and has a relatively new Garmin chartplotter/radar/bottom machine with through-hull transducer and a new VHF. She has a pilothouse steering station as well as a full set of controls in the massive cockpit- this makes her the perfect boat for entertaining a small crowd or Bay fishing.The boat has been hauled annually for bottom inspection and painting, and the CAT has been kept up-to-date on all services. She was repowered in 2013 with a pair of Cummins Factory Re-cons (6CTA8.3 430 hp), Transmissions were rebuilt, repacked rudder post, dripless shaft seals added, new Exhaust and Mufflers, Engine Block Heaters were also added.
