The vessel was originally built in 1947 by Cook Welton & General LTD in Beverly, England and was subsequently converted to a passenger sailing vessel. A complete refit and rebuild of the vessel was completed in Halifax toward the end of 2007. Barquentine model. M/V Caledonia.
