The Del Rey 24 is a upgraded version of the Columbia 24 or the Islander 24. The hulls are basically the same with the Del Rey having an additional 500 lbs of ballast and a taller mast. It was said to perform better than the Columbia. Internal Lead keel ballast. No keel bolts to worry about.Google Del Rey 24 for more info. I bought this boat and started to restore. I bought a bigger boat so this one has to go. Most of the dirty work has been done - bottom paint stripped, hull sanded and painted. The outboard well has been glassed in. Planning on installing an outboard bracket.Boat has the mast, boom, sails, etc. Needs top side paint.Trailer has heavy duty tires and new screw jacks.I have the title for the boat in my name. The trailer has a plate but is not registered. The DMV said the trailer is "out of the system" and would need to taken in for inspection if you wanted to register it.
