1975 Fales Navigator
It just feels good to be aboard this boat, like you know you will enjoy spending a lot of great times cruising together. The Fales Navigator is a unique motorsailor that is well regarded by those wishing to live-aboard or cruise comfortably and inexpensively. It is more of a sail-assisted trawler than a motorsailer with its smaller rig and 85 HP Perkins diesel, however the sails will really help save fuel when reaching & running when the wind picks up. The sails also help stabilize the boat from rolling as well as providing a sure way to get back to port if there are mechanical issues. Some people will also run this boat and it's sister-ship the Willard 30, without the sail rigs as a small efficient trawler, so it should be considered even if you are not a sailor. This boat is ideal for a couple who wants to spend more time onboard exploring the coast on budget, however with only one stateroom, this is not an ideal family cruiser. The salon settee converts to two modest berths ideal for guests you don't want to stay for too long.
