2017 Viking 82 Enclosed Bridge
The Viking flagship 82 Enclosed Bridge Convertible is the epitome of motor yacht luxury with the high performance and handling characteristics of our open bridge blue-water champions. Although the interior is similar with its five-stateroom, six-head layout, the 82 Enclosed Bridge offers the convenience of an interior teak staircase in the salon to the helm area in the climate-controlled bridge.
With its L-shaped lounge and teak cocktail table on a raised platform to enhance visibility and comfort at the dock and under way, a 40-inch flat screen television on a lift built into the teak cabinetry, bottle stowage, and drawer style refrigeration, the fully carpeted area becomes a virtual second salon with unique privacy and comfort. A second seating area outside the weatherproof locking door, opposite a convenient docking station adds more versatility to enjoy the outdoors.

Like all Vikings, the 80 Enclosed hones its blue-water DNA from its stable mates. The sleek styling showcases an impeccable sheer line with nine feet of freeboard forward tapering to slightly more than three feet at the stern, a lively reflection of the aggressive profiles of its recent brethren including the 92 and 62 Convertibles. The hull’s sharper entry merges with a higher forward chine designed to divert spray downward when ripping through head seas. Convex hull sections add curvature and form to the refined running surface, while a quad of molded running strakes accentuate lateral tracking and maneuverability. Tumblehome at the corners of the curved transom adds definition and beauty. Deadrise at the transom is 12.5 degrees and the beam is carried well aft providing exceptional volume, buoyancy and balance, a deft combination, which comfortably accommodates additional fuel, and the weight of a gyro stabilizer. .

2016 Viking Yachts Convertible Not so long ago, many experienced tournament skippers and anglers felt a boat over 70 feet was on the cusp of being too large to effectively compete on the tournament trail. But the Viking 74 Convertible launched in May 2004 proved differently. Fast forward to the fall 2008 when the launch of our 82 Convertible continued the upward trend demonstrating beyond any doubt that Viking hit another grand slam with its then new flagship. Now we approach the threshold of another amazing achievement, the Viking 92 Convertible, as we continue to lead the industry with new product and unrivaled innovation. Scheduled for a spring launch in 2014, the Viking 92 Convertible will be available in Open Bridge and Enclosed Bridge configurations.
