2004 Fountain 38 Express Cruiser If you're looking for the performance of an offshore boat with the space and amenities of a luxury cruiser, the 38' Express Cruiser is the answer. The 38 EC is undoubtedly the fastest, most fuel-efficient boat in its class. Twin 525 EFI Mercury engines will reach top speeds in excess of 70 mph, throttle back and cruise for hours in the mid 50's. Scale back to twin Mercury 425hp,engines and be capable of top speeds up to 64 mph with a long range cruise speed of 50+ mph. This boat was sunk, however it was only for a few hours, the engines were pickled straight away and have been started since. Overall the boat needs some work and a good service. Some cushions need replacement, the cabin needs some wood molding, cabinets and the vinyl liner needs replacement. However, the hull is in solid and in good shape as are many of the features on the boat. The boat is being sold for nearly half of NADA trade value and is well worth the money as a relatively small investment can bring it back to great shape with a value over 100,000.
