1983 Frers Dawn Kong & Halvorsen Dawn
This is a very rare and magnificent 48ft.1983 Frers Dawn cruiser/racer, one of only 15 that were built before the mold was destroyed in a fire. These highly sought after boats were built by Kong & Halvorsen and designed by the world famous naval architect German Frers.
This vessel has been undergoing a refit for the past two years and is ready to sail. She has a shallow draft bulb keel and draws only 5' 6" . She is equipped with large Barient electric 2 speed self tailing winches and Navtec hydraulic booms. She has a large inventory of assorted sails for all sailing situations. She boast a two stateroom layout with walkthrough aft cabin and a forward cabin each with enclosed heads. There is a large salon area and roomy galley. The hull was just freshly repainted with Awlgrip and new bottom paint applied. The house and the decks were also just repainted during the refit.There is a long list of improvements.
