1979 Gibson Fiberglass Houseboat,We're selling our custom designer renovated 36ft houseboat called "Whim" docked in a transferable liveaboard slip in Sausalito. We spent the past year pouring our hearts into remodeling this beautiful gem. It's complete with bamboo hardwood, mid-century brass fixtures, three decks, and a chic and clean design. It's the perfect vacation home getaway or full time residence. We're selling her only to fund our next design projects! Check out the link below to hear more about Whim!http://magazinec.com/decor/nautical-by-nature-2BOAT DESCRIPTION: We lofted the Queen size bed to provide a more roomy sleeping space with beautiful views out to the Sausalito hillside. Beneath the lofted bed we crafted a built in desk space and lounge area. The bathroom features chic black penny rounds on the floor and subway tiles on the walls. We are installing a brand new Marine toilet as well. Our kitchen feels extremely homey, with a full size porcelain sink, butcher block counters and a 2 burner electric range. A cute dining table is nestled in the corner. There are thoughtful and chic decorations throughout, like handmade driftwood shelves, cheerful succulents, brass chandelier and white, airy curtains. There are two inboard engines in the back of the boat. However, we intentionally optimized this boat as a home instead of a vehicle, so we opted out of connecting them to a control panel. The boat is still steerable, with a steering wheel connected to rudders. However, you will need to be towed in order to move the boat.THE DOCK: We are docked in a transferable live aboard slip in the heart of Sausalito, across the street from the Lighthouse Cafe and next to Bar Bocce. We are in what the locals call the "Banana Belt" since the fog tends to be blocked by the mountain ridge we face--so it's typically much warmer here! Our dock fees are $1500 per month--this includes livaboard status, electrical, water, and use of restrooms and dock showers. It is extremely difficult to find coveted dock space in Sausalito--usually more than a 3 year waiting list. The community is wonderful. Everyone is very kind and respectful :) The owner can also move the boat to any location on the bay, or haul it out and truck it elsewhere. We would love to schedule a showing for serious buyers. Please send me an email with any inquiries. Cheers! $124000
