Behind the classic lines, fine amenities and comfortable seating of the 2740 Glacier Bay, lies the rugged catamaran hull design that’s won the 728-mile “Bermuda Challenge and ranged 1,381 miles across the Pacific to Midway Island. This combination of features and ride makes the 2740 dual console the most versatile boat on the water. So, whether you are piling the kids in the bow for a trip to the beach or ranging far offshore for billfish, you can do it in the 2470.
The 2740 features 27 feet of open boat space with a full stand-up head in the port hull. There is seating for six under the standard hardtop, four more in the box area and two aft with the optional flip-out seats. When you are entertaining that big crew, you’ll have 600-quarts of insulated ice box storage built in. So, there are plenty of supplies for a big picnic around the Corian topped entertainment center with built in sink.
But, when the party’s over and it’s time to fish, flip up the aft seats and head offshore with 400 miles of range and the softest riding, most highly acclaimed hull on the water.
