Manufacturer Provided Description The Grady-White Seafarer 22 combines big sportfishing looks and function with durability in a SeaV2 design. The Seafarer is available in an outboard model, the 226 Seafarer, and in a Grady-Drive (outboard bracket) version, the 228 Grady Drive. The 226 features a fold-down motor well bulkhead, and the 228 features a bait rigging area and large insulated box livewell in the aft cockpit. The Seafarer offers a spacious 49-square foot cockpit. Roomy shelves are to the port and starboard of the helm and include convenient fire extinguisher storage. Rounded edges all around the boat, and improved ergonomics at the helm, mean more comfort. The traditional square back end of the Seafarer is particularly handy for fighting fish. Below decks, the 22 features a roomy cabin, sink, rod storage and bulk storage. 1991 Grady White 22’, 2005 Yamaha 225hp with 458 hours and 260 of those hours under 2,000 RPM, compression 181-190 PSI all cylinders, 2015 Yamaha full remote High Thrust 9.9, power tilt, electric start, electric hydraulic lift bracket, compression 195 and 205PSI. Both engines just had oil, filter, lower oil, fuel filters. Includes trim tabs, Penn electric downriggers, Garmin GPS/fishfinder, VHF radio, Furuno Radar, Long tandem axle roller trailer. This is an older boat but appears to be structurally still in good shape and motors checked out great. Current owner has had boat since 1994.

This Grady-White has been kept in a garage and well taken care of. It has a 2017 Evinrude 175 HP engine with 65 hours on her. The initial service was performed at 64 hours. Service receipt and warranty information are available on request. Per the seller, all systems are functioning properly. The trailer needs the brakes repaired or replaced. Of course, we always recommend that any buyer inspect the unit or have it surveyed independently to confirm the condition of the unit before purchase. The listing broker was very impressed with the condition of this vessel for it being a 1998. The hull was in very good condition. Bottom paint was all recently touched up and looks to be in good condition. The seller reports the boat is running great and ready for the next owner. The seller has service records that go back to the previous owners as well. Stock #258097 1998 GRADY WHITE 228 SEAFARER WALKAROUND YAMAHA 2 STROKE 225HP 2004 MAGIC TILT TRAILER 1998 Grady White 228 Seafarer G model. This vessel is powered by a 1998 Yamaha 2 Stroke OX66 model engine. Grady White comes with years of quality and are known for their ability for a stable ride. This 228 Seafarer can check a lot of boxes for the avid fisherman, the family that wants to enjoy the water, or even the owner that wants to take sunset cruises. This vessel has the forward cuddy with v-berth, small freshwater sink, and porta-potty. Perfect for taking a nap, avoiding nasty weather, or using the restroom when out on the water all day. There is plenty o room for 4 adults to fish from the rear deck and stern. This area also allows for that record catch to be hauled in. The boat appears to be in great condition for her age and the hull looks solid with only minor scratches. The deck is covered with Sea dek and appears firm.
