1978 Grand Banks Sedan  A modern classic, the Grand Banks 32 Sedan is one of the most popular small trawler designs ever produced. Powered with a single 6 cylinder Lehman diesel, owners report long hours of 7 knot cruising at 1.5 - 2.0 gph and a range of 500+ miles. A full-length skeg protects the underwater gear, and hard chins help to stabilize the ride.

2001 Grand Banks 38 Eastbay HX Dramatic price drop from $275,000. Price reflects the work required to get the boat in shape including exterior wood varnish, overhead dinette water leak, hull and topsides compound and wax, and interior wood cleaning. Original owner retiring from boating. Desirable forward island berth layout and hardtop version of this popular model. Never slept in. Only 270 hours on T/375hp Caterpillar diesels. Overall, the protection and ventilation offered by the hard top design is hard to beat, a fact that's of special interest to those who are dedicated to all-weather fast cruising. Many owners also praise the 38 Eastbay HX's all-important design extra: the versatile helm deck. Should one choose to close-off the helm deck with the included canvas cover, the usable amount of living space expands greatly. As for traditional craftsmanship, expect the exceptional attention to detail so apparent in each Grand Banks-crafted, C. Raymond Hunt-designed yacht. From the high-quality finish on the interior of the hard top, to the teak decking in the cockpit, helm area and cabin sole, all is as you would wish from one of the world's leading yacht makers. Below deck, the quality and care with which the 38 Eastbay HX is constructed continues to be clearly evident. To port, a well-equipped galley as well as generous storage and counter space makes onboard living a pleasant cruising experience. Across from the galley is a dining/salon area that features a handsomely crafted teak table surrounded on three sides by a comfortable settee. Even better, the table can be lowered to create a double berth for overnight guests. As for the forward stateroom, "Second Wind" includes the popular double-size island bed. Overall, a solid, long-term investment for those who desire both speed and comfort.
