1997 Grand Banks 42 Heritage Classic This high spec Grand Banks 42 Flybridge is an excellent buy. Originally speced out in the US by a Grand banks dealer to do the 'loop' she has many extras such as stabilizers and further additions one her arrival to the Med. She did not complete the 'loop' and this is reflected in her low engine hours. She is in excellent condition and has been professionally maintained and being offered in British Pound offers a very competitive rate.

1989 Grand Banks 42 Motor Yacht Imagine the Great Loop in a lovingly maintained 1989 43’ Grand Banks Motor Yacht. This is the relatively rare model—similar to the Grand Banks classic but with a “gunnel to gunnel” aft deck. This gives you a much broader deck for those evening sunsets and provides for a dramatically larger aft stateroom—with island queen, extra storage—even a desk for planning the next trip. The current owners have lived aboard for the last three years, under cover except when cruising. This vessel is ready for the next cruise!  The boat features galley up, with 3 burner propane stove with oven and three staterooms. The forward area boasts a traditional vee berth; immediately aft to port is a bunkroom with two” racks”-great for the kids or, in our case, grandkids. To starboard is a forward head and shower. Aft is the master stateroom with separate head and shower. Both heads feature newly installed freshwater heads which are absolutely odor free. All the comforts.  Below deck reside two of the legendary Lehman diesels with under 5k hours. According to American Diesel these engines average about 20,000 hours before overhaul. And they barely sip fuel. She carries 600 gallons of diesel (both tanks about 95% full) and easily goes 1,500 miles between fill ups. Both engines have twin disk transmissions, both replacements for the originals, and also known for long life. Finally there is an 8KW Westerbeke generator with about 1,200 hours. Full specifications are below.  Waiting for a new cruising family!

1997 Grand Banks East Bay 38 HAWK is hull #48 of the Eastbay 38 Series from Grand Banks.  The 38 was the first of the Eastbay models introduced by Grand Banks in 1993.  One of the best running hulls ever designed by Ray Hunt she was an overnight success and spawned an entire series of Eastbays from the venerable builder of the finest Trawler Yachts in the world at that time.  Her soft ride at any speed is now legendary and the benchmark for speed purposed Downeast style yachts.  Eastbay was then, and in many respects still is, the yardstick for the breed because in the Eastbay 38, Grand Banks was able to combine elegant looks, speed, cruising comfort and exemplary interior woodwork, all in a hull designed by an industry legend.  In its Singapore and Malaysia factories, Grand Banks turned out about 140 Eastbay 38s from ’93 through 2005 when she was replaced by the EB 39, a slightly longer, 1 inch wider hull which carried less fuel.  The consensus among the Downeast yachting crowd is the 39 never lived up to her older sister’s performance and comfort standards as far as ride and efficiency. Owned by a knowledgeable and experienced yachting couple who bought her after selling their Grand Bank 36 MY, HAWK has been maintained in top condition.  From her 18 degree deadrise deep-V bottom to her Flag Blue hull to the Oyster White superstructure with contrasting Moondust non-skid decks she glistens even on a cloudy day.  Her stainless steel safety and hand rails are polished and her raised teak toe rail is varnished to perfection.  She is cool and comfortable even on the hottest of days beneath her cockpit extended cover, on the custom air-conditioned PH helm deck or below in the roomy salon, galley and cabin spaces.  HAWK is offered for sale due to a change in the owners cruising plans and represents a unique opportunity to own a legend at an affordable price.  Whether your dream is to do the Great loop, cruise the US coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Maine discovering quaint harbors and hidden coves or to explore the Bahamas, Exumas and Down Islands, HAWK is standing tall and at the ready.
