2016 Hans Christian Yachts 48 Traditional Cutter/Ketch The Queen of the Hans Christian fleet has been proven over the decades as one of the worlds finest cruising yachts. All the specifications prove this out along with up to 12 year circumnavigations. Consider the High bulwarks, the custom teak work that can be as much or as little as you wish, The cutaway forefoot that allows quick tacking along with plenty of room for an optional bow thruster. Think of the masterful craftsmanship found in the interior and exterior, think of the fully hung rudder that is massive and fastened to the entire trailing edge of the keel, consider the propeller armature that protects the prop from lines and floating objects that are impossible to avoid. These blue water cruisers offer a great deal to all true sailors, in all conditions found at sea. There are many options such as full 1" stainless steel railing around the boat, bow thrusters, custom teak rub rails with bronze or stainless strikers, mast pulpits with pin rails and dunnage boxes, custom deck house for cockpit, full electronic packages that are installed at the area of commissioning. Generators up to 8KW, air conditioning, watermakers. and you name it, we can do it as long as it falls into the design objectives. These boats are all built to custom order, so a price must be quoted by the total picture. Shipping costs from your Thailand yard vary depending on the port of entry. ,

2015 Hans Christian 41 Traditional Cutter THIS BOAT IS BEING ADVERTISED AS A USED BOAT BUT CAN BE PURCHASED IN ANY STAGE OF COMPLETION. GOOD SAVINGS OF TIME. THE BOAT WAS BUILT FOR A EUROPEAN BUYER WHO RAN INTO FINANCIAL PROBLEMS AND COULD NOT CONTINUE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VESSEL. THIS  RELATES TO A MUCH QUICKER BUILD TIME THAN IF AN ORDER IS MADE FROM START. The 41 Traditional was introduced in 1985. The design was done by Scott Sprague whose father was the head technical person for the William Garden Design Co. Scott worked with his father and developed a great knowledge in cruising yacht design with modern thoughts as introduced by Robert Perry and company. The goal of the 41 Traditional was to build a roomier version of the 38 and 43 traditional yachts of the Hans Christian Line. The desire was to produce a head in the forepeak and Pullman berth version, but to have the galley room of the 38kT and 43 T models. The ability to carry more sail to weather, by making a harder turn of the bilges, as in the Christina and 33 and 48 Traditional series, creates a much more comfortable ride.  The ability to offer a boat that can accept an easy access generator installation when a buyer goes with the 2 head optional version that includes a large starboard side storage area with easy access to the steering area. The navigators station is laid out with ample room for new era electronics, with redundant repeaters, and self-steering equipment. The 41T has proven her well over the years, and few are found on the resale market. With use of more modern construction equipment, and various components, there is little left to the imagination..   There are no other yachts of this Traditional style available in a hand built method. We offer models of the 41 traditional in all stages of construction from bare hull and deck to total finish, and have hull and deck that can be purchased either here or in Pattaya Thailand at the yard.. If you do not want some or all of the teak, we can eliminate it and use pattern nonskid finish in the color of your choice. Construction time can take up to a year since the hand crafted yacht takes time to build and a lot depends on the work load of the yard. Pantawee Marine Co. the builder of   The Hans Christian and Hallmark line of yachts does not depend on the Hans Christian to support the yard. As one of the top builders in Thailand, they have other projects that keep them going. Certainly this yacht is not a boat for everyone. The profile of the buyer is a person who dreams the cruising dream, wants a heavier yacht with good performance and comfort, a buyer who realizes that the gentle motion and seakeeping ability of the Hans Christian has been proven from the early 70's. 2015 Hans Christian HALLMARK 480 THIS IS A NEW ORDER YACHT BUILT TO SEMI CUSTOM SPECIFICATIONS. The Hallmark 480 is built by Pantawee Marine LTD. of Thailand. PML is directed by Jack Hall, a New Zealand trained shipwright who trained with the Salthouse group in NZ. Jack has long been the builder of Hans Christian yachts, along with exceptional experience with custom projects, molds, and other types of yacht building projects. He and his wife Jum run the Pantawee yard with an efficient group of Thai and various expat's who have chosen a life in Thailand. The Hallmark 480 is a design from Chuck Paine who is very well known for his exceptional work over the years. (quoted from Chuck Paine's web site)For decades Chuck Paine and Bob Perry shared the leadership of the “sell up and sail” market for semi-production world cruisers. Though that market is well served by the brokerage houses today, there are still a few out there who possess the financial means to build new and the desire to enjoy the first more care-free  years of a yacht’s life. Some of his designs include the following yachts; French & Webb 75, Kanter 65, Cabo Rico 56, Lyman-Morse 54, Fay 54, Morris 486, Kanter 48, Bowman 48, Morris 46 Deck Saloon, Morris 46 Morris 45, Morris 45 Racer/Cruiser, Cabo Rico 42 Pilothouse, Cabo Rico 40/42, Bowman 42, Morris 42, Jessica 38, Morris 38, Expannie 36, Morris 34, Roanhorse 31 and other mega-yachts, leaves no doubt about his ability in design. You can expect a quick an stable platform, and an interior that will please the most particular cruiser. There are three versions that go from three to four staterooms. Give me a call at your leIsure and we can go over the fact that building a new yacht can be a lifetime experience.

1987 Hans Christian TRADITIONAL 48 CUTTER SAIL WE ARE AT 229,900 DOLLARS, OWNER WANTS TO SELL, TRY US WITH AN OFFER THAT IS SOMEWHAT REASONABLE.  THIS YEAR BEFORE HE DESIDES TO KEEP IT. call me to find out why this is one of the finest world cruisiers built.  PUCALLFcLISHED JANUARY 2015 The Hans Christian 48 is a timeless design, certain trends come and go, but the traditional beauty, the combination of old world craftsmanship and modern technology, the heavy sea performance and lighter air capability, all go together to make up one of the finest cruising yachts that the past years have produced. These hand laid hulls, with encapsulated ballast, altered forefoot for ease of tacking, high weather deck bulwarks that protect you in times you need protection. The "GOOD NIGHT MOON" is a yacht that has had true love and care by owners that know and appreciate what the proper yacht husbandry can mean when you are a thousand miles from nowhere. THE HANS CHRISTIAN YARD IS STILL OPERATING IN 2015 BUT PRODUCING ONLY THE NEW HALLMARK 480, THE 48 TRADITIONAL, AND THE 41 TRADITIONAL. THE RUMORED SALE ENDED UP JUST A RUMOR SINCE THE OWNERS OF PANTAWEE MARINE DECIDED TO KEEP BUILDING THE LINE WITH THE ADVENT OF THE NEW HANS CHRISTIAN EUROPE. THIS ADDED A BETTER BALANCE OF VOLUME INCLUDING THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION, A TOTAL NEW MARKET FOR THESE YACHTS. . "GOOD NIGHT MOON"  has not seen a high degree of cruising water under her keel.  But she has seen enough to say she is fully tried and all deficiencies have been overcome. The one problem with the 48T is the exceptional cut away in the fore foot sections of the vessel. Actually, when Scott Sprague designed this boat, the question came "should we follow the Perry long fin design with skeg hung rudder. After considerable thought, the feeling became that by cutting the forefoot away and leaving the full sections of the keel won the argument. These boat power into a tack with considerable force making them as quick of the lighter long fin peers. Yet, the prop is protected, the sections in the aft stations offer more support, or as we call them, high bustle areas which eliminate a great deal of  the hobbyhorsing found in the more pointed double ended yachts. In reality, this is a true canoe or even a knuckle stern. As the bow raises, the reciprocal action is dampened by the bustle sections in the after sections. The one downside of this is that when docking in fast tide flows, or excessive wind, the bow falls off quickly. The arrival of the bow thruster quickly overcame this problem and turned into a blessing for many of us who love the 48T. It is also a great steering device if you ever lost

1999 Hans Christian CHRISTINA 43 The Hans Christian "Christina 43" The project was started in 1984. A total of 34 boats of this model were built. The designer, Scott Sprague designed this series of yachts to produce superior cruising speed and a stiff sailing yacht, due to the faster turn of the hull which presents a hard shoulder to leeward, with good weatherly performance for the medium displacement yacht. The long cord fin and the 1/2 skeg rudder provide excellent tracking, along with great maneuverability and a light helm. This boat is the last "Christina 43" built in the Anderson Yachts Ltd. yard in Thailand. The yacht was built under constant supervision of the first owner and the watchful eye of the listing brokerage. The interior of these yachts are a testament to the legendary craftsmanship of the Hans Christian yachts and truly a masterpiece to be seen. The Christina 43 deck lay-out was designed with safety and manageability in mind. This produced a yacht that is the epitome of what a proper cruising yacht should be. Her sail plan is easily managed with a pair of roller furling head sails, self-tailing winches and a hard boom vang. Additional sails include a storm tri-sail and spinnaker with pole. The cockpit is equipped with a stainless steel radar arch with cockpit flood lights and enclosed by a 2015 dodger with Eisen glass and screens and an attached bimini top.  At the helm is a full complement of 2010 electronics that include Raymarine C-97 Chart plotter /Digital Radar/Sounder, a Standard Horizon Matrix AIS GX2100 VHF Ram mic, Ratheon ST60 Wind/Speed/Depth instruments and a Raymarine ST 6001+ Autopilot. Below decks you will be very comfortable. Immerse yourself in the old world craftsmanship of rich woods and handmade carpentry. You will find Marine air, Spectra 400 water maker, Comb-O-Matic washer and dryer and a full entertainment system with DVD player, flat screen TV and multiple speaker systems that is I-pod ready.  There is truly too much to list here so please continue to the detailed listing.  "Christina 43's" have proven themselves in all types of sea conditions, and in all areas of the world. This “Ideal 1” is located in Spanish Town on the Island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Showings must be arranged well in advanced to Pre-qualified Buyer’s.
