MADAM P is one of the nicest 1988 Hatteras Convertible Sport Fisherman 42’s in the country.
Original owner since 1989 when vessal was 1st commissioned. Numerous upgraded systems and new systems. Madam P is a spoiled girl and it shows.
vessel is currently being used in T.V. series movie remake, a soon to be released film of a very popular 1990’s hit T.V. show.
When the Hatteras 41 Convertible Sportfish was introduced in 1986, she was widely hailed as the beginning of a new series of modern Hatteras designs. The ‘new look’ windows, solid front windshield, stepped sheer and rakish flybridge were forerunners of today’s Hatteras Convertible Sportfish styling. In this original 2 stateroom layout, the inline galley is along the port side in the salon. ‘Madam P’ also has the upgraded fuel capacity of 500 gallons.

Like many Hatteras Yachts known for their incredible seaworthiness, the Hatteras 52' Convertible has an awesome reputation for off-shore performance. Today, the Hatteras 52 Convertibles are still in demand and holding their values well.
A great looking vessel that is still turning heads today, the 52' has a long deck profile with a very large cockpit and flybridge that offers plenty of room for anglers or guests alike.
The Hatteras 52 Convertible’s hull was designed by Jack Hargrave. The hull was designed to run well in a head sea. The double chine serves two purposes, the first is to deflect the spray down, making this Hatteras dry, and it also allowed an increase of beam without adding more wetted hull surface, giving more interior volume without decreasing efficiency through the water. The modified V has a sharp entry to cut through choppy sea conditions. The V quickly shallows after the entry adding volume and buoyancy forward to keep the Foredeck above the waterline in even the most sporty of sea states. As you travel aft, the hull bottom gradually flares out for added stability. This stability is especially important at slower speeds such as when trolling for elusive big game fish.
