1991 Herreshoff Buzzards Bay A great opportunity to purchase one of the few 14's - fiberglass or wood built with a forward deck house, providing not only a unique appearance but a larger forward area for storage or a place for kids to duck into should the weather take a turn. While she was originally built in 1991 she looks brand new due to her recent, complete re-finishing performed to perfection by EM Crosby Boatworks in West Barnstable Ma. All of her brightwork was completely stripped and re-finished. Her hull topsides and deck were re-painted with Awlgrip. Her bottom was stripped of all existing antifouling and recoated with fresh antifouling paint. Her beautiful spruce spars were also re-finished along with the replacement of the main spreaders. She comes with a custom fitted trailer with an adjustable tongue assembly allowing easier boat ramp launching. As the list of equipment will attest she comes fully equipped and ready to sail! Built by Cape Cod Shipbuilding, this molded fiberglass hull is a direct copy of a Herreshoff 12 1/2 and makes for a seaworthy full displacement keel boat with a handsome wine glass transom.
