1986 Hinckley Sou'wester 50 Carol Cee is a one owner absolutely custom Hinckley Sou'wester yawl launched in 1986.   "...the pure grace and simple beauty of the Hinckley design and the impeccable quality of the craftsmanship that goes into each and every hand-built Hinckley yacht. While there are many great boats plying the waters of the world, none have the soul of a Hinckley, drawn from the incredible spirit and pride of the American craftsmen in Trenton, Maine, who have been bringing Hinckley yachts to life since 1928." ~ Robert Iger : Vanity Fair May 2014 CAROL CEE is fresh from the paint shed and has had an extensive refit after sitting in a climate controlled hangar for nearly 5 years. She has had all of her standing rigging replaced and the main engine and genset have been totally inspected and serviced as necessary. She is easily seen in her hangar in Plymouth, MA. Her owner ordered her with a much extended main salon and only 2 staterooms forward. She is, truly, a gentleman's cruising yacht but also a perfect fit for family sailing to the far corners of the world.  CAROL CEE is not for the puppy boater or arm chair sailor.  She wants to get out and spread her sails and go conquer the world.  With her relatively short draft, there are few places she is unable to visit.

2003 Hinckley Picnic Boat EP Since its introduction in 1994, the Hinckley Picnic Boat has become the most successful single motor yacht in this company's history. With the Picnic Boat EP, Hinckley has extended the pilothouse roof by 2.5 feet, added an L-shaped settee, and now offers an optional 3 by 3-foot triangular teak pedestal table, creating a layout ideally suited to relaxed conversation and gracious entertaining. The engine box, typically used as the picnic table, has also been redesigned with entertaining in mind. As part of the EP option package, it incorporates a wet bar with molded-in sink, foldaway faucet and an insulated icebox. (A gas grill may be selected in place of the icebox.) The reconfigured engine box also includes an additional aft-facing cushioned seat, facing the standard transom settee - a favorite perch of sunseekers. In all other respects, the EP retains the Picnic Boat's performance features and refined appointments. Her jet drive, JetStick controls and 18-inch draft allow access where no other 36-foot yachts dare venture. DualGuard hull construction of Kevlar and carbon makes her highly rigid and impact-resistant, yet lightweight enough to reach a top speed of 28 knots. And her interior is handcrafted in cherry with Hinckley's signature teak and holly sole varnished to a rich luster.
