This boat is currently wrapped in storage. The seller reports that he replaced the main mast standing rigging in 2020. He also has 2 new Barient model 27 self-tailing winches that are included in the sale but have not been installed. More work has been done on the interior to make her shine and new bottom paint applied Spring 2015. She is ready to go back in the water. Named Thistle, as a nod to the owners heritage, this Sou'West 50 has been consistently maintained and is ready for a new owner. She is available by appointment. As you step aboard, you will notice the amount of deck space, recent varnish work, and how easily accessible the lines are allowing for the boat to be single handed should you like to sail solo. Heading down below, the galley is to port with wood grain Formica countertops, Force 10 4 burner stove, multiple refrigeration units, hot and cold pressure water system and double stainless steel sinks. To starboard is the nav station, with radar, loran, and GPS systems. There is a multi-drawerchart size desk giving plenty of storage for all your charts, boat manuals, pulleys, shackles, pins etc. Aft of the nav station and under the starboard cockpit area is a quarter berth for crew or for additional storage. To port and forward of the galley area is the dinette, with an additional berth behind the main seating area. To starboard is more seating, which pulls out for yet more sleeping accommodations.
