1972 Hinckley CUTTER ....Classic....NIRVANA was carefully modified in 1985 at the Hinckley Boat yard, adding a 4’ transom extension, a powerful bow sprit and modifying her from a ketch to a cutter rig. Her mast height was increased to 63’11”, giving her a favorable sail displacement ratio of 15.6. She carries 1123 square feet of working sails, a furling genoa, furling staysail, and main. The hull is solid fiberglass, with a keel/centerboard, a center cockpit, an aft cabin, and an owner’s private aft cockpit. The vessel is a solid, very stable, long range cruising yacht with excellent sailing capabilities The high freeboard, wide decks, together with a beautifully appointed and comfortable living accommodations all contribute to this unique and magnificent vessel.
