Stock #424922 Rare 1983 HINTERHOELLER 35 NIAGRA, with A/C and new sole boards This Niagara 35 is a classic, well-crafted cruiser designed by renowned naval architect Mark Ellis. Built in Canada by Hinterhoeller, this sailboat is celebrated for its durability, ease of handling, and solid performance, making it an ideal choice for coastal cruising and offshore passages. Its robust construction and design ensure comfort and practicality on extended journeys. The Niagara 35 provides excellent sail control and balance in various wind conditions. With a full-battened mainsail and roller furling headsail, she is easy to sail single-handed or with a small crew. Below deck, the bright, spacious cabin is finished in teak and comfortably accommodates up to six people. Known for her spacious storage, this "Encore" layout includes an offset double V-berth forward, a quarter berth, an open saloon, a large head, and a U-shaped galley aft. The cabin features molded berth faces with a teak sole (currently being replaced) and a teak inlay in the molded overhead (though not attached in photos, they are available). High-quality hardware, winches, Navtec rod rigging, and hatches. The interior boasts oiled teak bulkheads and joinery, varnished pine strapping in the bookcases, bi-fold doors, and swiveling lights. Built with a fiberglass hull, this 35 Niagara is strong and stable, ready to handle challenging seas. Its keel with spade rudder enhances tracking and maneuverability. According to the seller, this vessel is in top shape. Everything is functional and in good working order. Updated batteries and thru-hulls as well as other upgrades set this boat apart from the pack. All cabin features, stove, fridge, and more are all good to go. All electronics, with the exception of the single-side-band radio, are less than 7 years old. The windlass is a Loughren-Tigres model with 275' of chain and 175' of 3/4" anchor line attached to a 55' Rocna anchor, all dating from 2018. Propane lines were replaced in 2020. Fridge is from 2017. Stock #365153 RARE 1981 Niagara 35 bluewater cruiser, updated throughout, ready to hit the high seas! This Niagara 35 is a classic built by Hinterhoeller Yachts for open water cruising. Thoughtful use of available space allows for great storage space and generates a roomy, spacious feel belowdecks not normally found in a 35-foot sailboat. This boat was built like a tank for handling any reasonable seas. Another feature rarely found in vessels of this size is a manufacturer-installed fireplace / heater which would be appreciated on adventures to the colder climes. This boat had a bottom job in 2022. In 2020, old batteries and thru-hulls were replaced with new ones. In 2019 the staysail and chain plate were replaced and radar installed. 1985 Hinterhoeller Niagara 35 Encore Sea Fox is a Mark Ellis designed Niagara 35 built by Hinterhoeller that is a legendary example of a true offshore cruising vessel.  The Encore is the preferred layout with an inviting interior to accommodate family and friends with beautiful teak joinery work varnish teak and holy cabin sole.  Natural light abounds the interior with overhead hatches and port lights on the cabin sides.  The Niagara is a fast, dry and sea kindly hull design to club race or extend your cruising possibilities.   The owner purchased her new and has meticulously keep her up with numerous upgrades and updating.  New power operated full battened roller furling main, new jib, reworked all the rigging, new non skid awl gripped decks and a complete new exhaust system.  She kept on the Connecticut River and stored and maintained at the Brewer Deep River Marina.  This boat is a must see, a great family cruiser.
