1996 Hunter 19 1996 Hunter 19, 1996 Hunter 19' sailboat with a 2 year-old CDI flexible furler and a Nissan 4 stroke engine. Swing centerboard. Water ballast system. New bottom paint. Price includes a like new trailer (only a few years old), brand new anchor and brand new winch handle. Pictures show some brown accumulation on the hull that has been cleaned off. Not pictured in the interior cabin picture are the cushions which are in amazing, like-new condition. (I keep them in the garage.) The boat draws about a foot of water with the centerboard up. Despite the spacious interior (which can sleep 4) it is nimble and very easy to handle for a 19 footer. I am a novice sailor and have no trouble sailing the boat on my own. The mast can be raised by one person and has a mast raising system. The water ballast keeps the boat incredibly stable, but it will still heel enough to be fun. When drained the boat is extremely light, making it easy to tow behind any vehicle. Other features: Bimini top (a rare find on a hunter and is key during the summer), stove and toilet (never used!), molded non-skid deck, 2 cockpit lockers, stainless swim ladder, forward opening hatch, open transom design with huge cockpit. 1998 Hunter 240 sailboat with trailer. We have trailered this boat to Panama City, sailed in her in the Gulf (on a calm day) and my family of 4 just spent 4 days 3 nights aboard in the Pensacola Bay area. 24 foot, Honda electric start 9.9 outboard motor, retractable keel, water ballast, walk-through transom with swim ladder, new sails (Schurr Sails) in May 2015 with main sail cover, jib is hank-on, both sails have single reefing points, boom vang, all lines run to cockpit for single-handing, Bimini, 2 anchors and chain/line, 2 batteries with dual bank battery charger, shore power and 2-110 volt outlets, 12 volt outlet, LED bulbs in cabin, Dometic Porta Potty, New Whale pump manual faucet. Trailer recently upgraded to LED lights and refurbished hydraulic brakes. With the keel and rudder up, this boat floats in 18 inches of water. Boat weighs 2,300 lbs on the trailer, plus 1,000 lb trailer, it will tow with most mid-size SUVs at 3,300 lbs.
