For example they facilitate the construction of integral storage tanks for water and fuel. These storage tanks are located below the sole and they provide the additional security of a double hull in that vulnerable area. Placing the fuel and water tanks in this location also lowers the boat's centre of gravity. This reduces the angle of heeling and increases cruising comfort. Kanter's interiors are hand-crafted from only the finest materials. Traditional teak, cherry and ash are prominently featured in many boats.
