1986 Luhrs Alura
This Luhrs Alura 30 "Lyric" has been well maintained and meticulous cared for. This is by far one of the nicest and most well cared for Luhrs Aluras that I have seen. The boat shows like a much newer vessel. Low hours of 704 on the 270HP engine with a compression test completed 11-2015 at the time that the manifolds and risers were replaced. Recent updated include: New Sunbrella convertable top with enclosure and cockpit bimini with sun shades, New port hatches replaced including new dogs/knobs, 12,000 BTU Cruiseair installed and more. The Alura 30 has been designed for low maintenance, safety and her lines are traditional so that she is in style in any harbor or marina. The full length skeg keel protects the bronze propeller and rudder. The cockpit is very spacious and open for fishing or seating for relaxing. The scooped area in the transom allows for easy access to the swim platform and stainless steel ladder.
Fwd on deck you have a molded-in self draining anchor stowage locker. The bow rail is stainless steel and mounted on the deck to allow for easy movement in safe conditions whether anchored or underway. Additional deck gear include 10" bow and stern cleats, spring line cleats, and stainless steel handrails on the cabin top. The entire deck area has been designed for ease of movement and low maintenance. The windshield on both port and starboard sides can be opened in varying adjustable positions with windshield wipers.
The cabin area sports a 6' 4" headroom that allows you and your crew ease of movement. Forward, the berthing area comes complete with sleeping for 2 with two additional swing up bunks. The dinette is an adjustable pedestal table that converts to a large 7 1/2' X 7' sleeping area. All cushions are fabric covered. The teak and holly sole is finished in polyurethane for low maintenance.
The galley is complete with a 2-burner alcohol stove, an easy accessible icebox and a stainless steel sink. Stowage is plentiful in the galley and throughout the rest of the cabin area.
There is an enclosed head, complete with shower, hot and cold pressurized water system, sink and mirror. Easily accessible stowage areas are also abundant in the head.
The entire cabin is ventilated with ports and are easily adjustable for those cool evening breezes.
