1986 Luhrs Alura

Fwd on deck you have a molded-in self draining anchor stowage locker. The bow rail is stainless steel and mounted on the deck to allow for easy movement in safe conditions whether anchored or underway. Additional deck gear include 10" bow and stern cleats, spring line cleats, and stainless steel handrails on the cabin top. The entire deck area has been designed for ease of movement and low maintenance. The windshield on both port and starboard sides can be opened in varying adjustable positions with windshield wipers.
The cabin area sports a 6' 4" headroom that allows you and your crew ease of movement. Forward, the berthing area comes complete with sleeping for 2 with two additional swing up bunks. The dinette is an adjustable pedestal table that converts to a large 7 1/2' X 7' sleeping area. All cushions are fabric covered. The teak and holly sole is finished in polyurethane for low maintenance.

2003 Luhrs 40 Open
"Dippin Deeper" is not your "ordinary" Luhrs 40' Open. She has been modified, customized, and upgraded constantly by a very maintenance-conscious owner. He realizes that there are sister-ships on the market for considerably less, but none that are anywhere near as well-kept and outfitted as "Dippin Deeper". Thousands upon thousands of dollars have been spent over the years to get her in the condition that she is currently in. She lacks for nothing, and is ready to go. She is powered by a pair of spotless Cummins 8.3 L 480hp engines with 1900 original hours (all services are up-to-date) which push her at any easy 25 knots cruise burning only 40 gph. The owner installed a pair of Vetus Marine engine vents to the hull-sides after he realized that the original cockpit vents were allowing considerable amounts of salt-spray into the engine room. Not only has this been greatly reduced, but so has the noise level in the cockpit and helm deck while underway, as well as the ambient air temperature in the engine room by 15-20 degrees. Huge improvement! Custom tackle storage now fills the spaces where the original vents were located. Very nicely done! Another huge custom improvement was the modification of the engine exhaust system. Before, the engine and exhaust noises were rather unpleasant to bear for the run offshore, but now captain and crew can speak at normal levels. One-of-a-kind! Some other notable upgrades include two vertical hand-rails located at either side of helm station (not offered by Luhrs- but CRUCIAL for safety), new blue LED hardtop, cockpit, and engine room lights, 8kw Koehler genset that was removed and completely refurbished in 2015 (see photos), custom hood built over the top of the genset to prevent corrosion, custom "Mike's Marine" canvas package for helm console, fighting chair, and tower, and so much more! "Dippin Deeper" is by far the cleanest well maintained 40 open on the market. Her wide beam, efficient cruise and agility along with a centerline helm make handling this boat a dream. 1994 Luhrs 32 Tournament Convertible
Brand new to the market, the "Jersey Devil" is a super-clean example of the popular Luhrs 32' Tournament. She is loaded with equipment and ready for offshore action or inshore cruising. She is powered by a healthy pair of Marine Power 454-7.4 liter 340 hp engines, she has a re-built Onan generator (@ 50 hours), and recently replaced risers and manifolds on her main engines. Both motors had top-end job re-builds at 650 hours, and the port engine has only @ 100 hours since majored due to faulty oil change. Total time is 1169 port, 1167 starboard.

2005 Luhrs 32 Open Diesel
The Luhrs 32 Open has a deep forefoot and a Carolina flair to bust up the head seas while still keeping passengers dry and comfortable on those long treks offshore. The modified V-hull runs true in all conditions and is stable in the troughs. A true center console, the 32 makes shorthanded fishing a snap.
