Gel coat and surfaces aboard the Luhrs are generally in nice condition. Isinglass has been updated as needed and all upholstery is intact. Bottom paint is current and the bottom is cleaned regularly. The Garmin electronics were installed in 2019, the owner confirms, and work very well. Both helms are fully functional with ignition, throttle, shift, steering and trim tabs. This Luhrs Tournament 290 Open is a natural bluewater sportfisher with its deep-V hull, Carolina-style flair, and its big beamy stance. The 290 is just under 32' long with a 11' 6" beam. The open format and wide beam allow for a large aft deck with great access to the water. Fully rigged for fishing, the boat can be captained either from the main helm or from the spotting tower. The boat includes two outriggers in addition to the rod holders and rocket launchers onboard. The recently installed Garmin 946 GPS-fishfinder and Garmin radar, and a VHF radio are at the helm. Awesome seating surrounds the Captain's chair. The cabin can accommodate 4 sleeping and has pressurized water, head and shower. In the galley are a refrigerator and electric stove.
