This 2001 MacGregor 26X has seen limited use since 2012 due to lengthy family illness. 2009 Aluminum MacGregor trailer, lightly used with new tires. New mainsail with battens (never used), new jib. Blue Water Yachts steering brake, spare UFLEX Rotech steering assembly with cables. Mercury EFI four-stroke 50HP Bigfoot outboard. Larger diameter SS helm wheel, anchor roller and locker, mast raising system, two-burner Origo stove, improved galley storage, bimini and dodger.
2009 Macgregor MacGregor 26M The Macgregor 26M claims to be the fastest and best handling of the trailerable sailing and high-speed motor cruisers. She is easy to sail and easy to power at planing speeds. With the trailer you can visit cruising grounds that water bound boats can't get to. You can overnight on this boat on land or water. For power she is equipped with a 60hp outboard that can zap you about at over 20 knots to get you to & from your favorite sailing or fishing destinations rapidly, and even allows you to tow skiers and wakeboards. 2003 Macgregor 26X, This 26' Power-Sailor in excellent condition is powered by a nearly new Honda 50hp achieving speeds up to 20mph. The Macgregor is known for its stable and safe sailing characteristics, water ballast, exceptionally roomy cabin, and its world class trailering and launch/retrieve capability. We have enjoyed this using this boat all the way from the Florida Keys up into Ontario, Canada, the Chesapeake Bay and our local lake. Sleeps 6.
