1985 MAKO 224Considered the Finest Hull Mako Ever BuiltThe Mako Model 224 is one of the most sought after Classic Mako Boats ever built. These boats were built like tanks in the mid 80's and were built to last. Rarely will you find a Mako 224 in this condition with NO bottom paint and new upgrades. This boat is a fishing machine. I have clocked it at 39 MPH on glass water with a quarter tank of Fuel. Sports a Large 112 Gallon Fuel Tank. I purchased this boat 2 years ago and used it for about 2 dozen shark charters for my business. I refurbished many of the worn or outdated parts and replaced them with better and stronger items. Items like the original interior lights, which are almost impossible to find, were left in place. Transom is Rock Solid. You will not find a stronger hull or smoother ride on any other production boat in this class. Custom Fit Boat Cover Included in price as well as the 4 Old Tires than can be used as spares. Trailer has 4 new tires. Splash Guards were installed on transom to minimize water backflow in rough water conditions. Storage literally everywhere. You will not run out of storage in this boat! Below I will list all the items that were upgraded as well as a list of original items. Please contact me with any questions. I know this boat inside and out and would be happy to answer any questions that the description does not provide. I hate to sell this boat because I worked effortlessly on it for 2 years, but I am selling this boat as well as my other aluminum flats boat for one brand new boat that will do both jobs.
