This Mako is a wonderful, solid vessel! Other than a few small nicks in the hull, everything looks great! The seller states that all of the electronics and components are in working order including the radar. The impellers and seals have been replaced and the motors have had a recent oil change. None of the personal items such as life jackets, fishing poles, tackle, and water toys are included in the sale of this Mako. EPIRB will stay with the current owner. 1990 MAKO BOATS 285 Dual Console I am the fourth owner of the vessel. She was originally conscripted by one of the founders of Home Depot. It was custom designed with an enclosed transom and an outboard motor bracket to allow for more efficient crossings from East Florida to the Bahamas while in tow. The original owner used it sparingly as a weekend get-around and fishing vessel for family Bahamas trips. It was then sold to one of the owners friends in Jacksonville, FL and used as a family offshore fishing boat. The third owner, purchased the vessel in 2005 and moved it to Annapolis, MD. He was a yachtsman and took excellent care of the vessel while primarily using it as a striper trolling vessel. She was freshwater kept during her stint in MD (2005 - 2014). She was re-powered in 2006 with 250 Evinrude E-Tec motors. I purchased the vessel in 2014 and moved it to Madeira Beach, FL for use as a family friendly eco-tour and fishing charter vessel. It is very well equipped for entertaining, cruising and fishing. The motors are in excellent condition, with new lower units (one new, one rebuilt), new Sea-Star steering and new throttle cables (2016). She just had her full service completed (10/16), including, new plugs, fuel filters and T-stats.
