This 1986 Marine Trader Sundeck trawler is in overall very good condition. The teak deck is in great shape and the hull appears excellent. The galley has been refreshed with new appliances. The engine and generator are up to date on maintenance with new starter motors on each. All of the bilge pumps were replaced between 2021 and mid-2023. Two out of the three air conditioners are new and feature digital controls. The third AC unit, in the V-berth, is inoperative and due for replacement. The seller uses the v-berth mostly for storage, but on the few occasions it has been used for sleeping, keeping the door open between the salon and the cabin has provided plenty of cool air. A sudden high speed wind gust while at anchor early in 2023 resulted in the original bow spirit breaking and the anchor chain dislodging into the starboard side of the stainless tube bow railing and bending some tubing. The bow spirit has been replaced with a solid fiberglass model bolted into the deck with a stout backing plate. The seller has yet to find someone to repair the railing but continues to try.
