The vessel is aged, but everything is in working order and in usable condition. With some TLC and some cleaning and updating it will be a great boat for days on the water. You will find the raised helm and rear helm both helpful when navigating and docking. Stock #396320 Very nice 1969 Stapleton 32! Great liveaboard oppurtunity! This classic 1969 Stapleton is a solid boat that has many possibilities. It was converted from a fishing boat to a small cruiser. It features a forward cabin with one berth. The open salon area has a small table, propane stove, and small refrigerator. It is open with windows all around and lets in plenty of light. Although the boat is older, the helm has the amenities needed such as a gps, chartplotter and vhf radio. The draft is under 3 feet so it is capable of navigating fairly shallow waters, yet stable enough to be out in more open waters. Reason for selling is older owner not using any longer.

The boat shows its age and there are many cosmetic deficiencies, however it is a solid boat and mechanically sound. The engine hoses are not leaking but show their age. The boat is clean inside and out. There were no musty old boat smells or engine room fluid smells. The exterior handrail is very glossy. The teak decks look to be in good condition. The teak toe rail has been painted over, the paint is chipping off. THE GELCOAT HAS EXCESSIVE CRAZING FROM THE FLORIDA SUN. (Please see the pictures, so you know what to expect). This is an old boat with weathered character, not a showpiece. The exterior sun shades are in nice condition. The exterior cushions and canvas all appear to be in good condition. The non-skid deck surfaces are clean and look to be in very good condition. The helm looks clean and laid out well. The salon is in very nice condition. The brightwork looks great. No water stains around the windows were seen. T The cushions look to be in great shape. The galley was clean and looks very functional. The helm looks to be in good condition. The gauges are clear and the woodwork looks great. The forward cabin and head look to be in nice condition and ready for use. The engine room was very bright and clean. This bluewater cruiser is equipped with twin Caterpillar 210 horsepower 3208 engines, with 900 gallons of fuel capacity, giving you an extended amount of range. The Naiad stabilizers will keep you steady on course. Electronics consist of dual Garmin MFDs, auto pilot on both stations, VHF radios. This vessel is equipped to keep offshore for extended periods of time. There are two Onan generators a 15kw, a 5 kw (that starts but does not stay running) and a 600 watt solar system. The boat has 6 8D Fullriver AGM batteries and one generator starting battery. The boat is equipped with a Kiase invertor. There are 3 ac units to keep you cool and comfortable. With 325 gallons of freshwater capacity, you can enjoy boating in comfort and the water maker system will produce more than enough water to keep you filled up. There is a washer and dryer on board for convenience. The spacious aft deck is great for entertaining and enjoying a meal. The sunscreens block the rays, cut down on wind and provide privacy. The walkway has roll up isinglass doors to keep the wind and rain out of the aft deck. There is easy access from the aft deck down the steps to the custom foldable swim platform. The boat comes with an extra full-size anchor and Danforth anchor. From the aft deck step up to the massive covered flybridge. There are 3 deck boxes for storage, a comfortable L-shaped seat and a built in Jenn-Aire grill. There is easy access to the hard that sits over the aft deck. You can deploy your dingy with ease with the electric davit. Step down into the beautiful salon, appointed with well-maintained wall panels, cabinetry and floor. To starboard is the galley and counter with stools for eating. A large comfortable sofa has storage underneath for sunshades and enclosures. Opposite of the sofa is a TV for viewing. The captain has large, raised pedestal seat overlooking the beautiful wooden helm. There is a sliding door on starboard side of the wheelhouse for easy access to the walkways and foredeck. The spacious aft cabin is adorned with rich paneling and cabinetry. There is an ample sized head and shower. The port holes provide plenty of light and ventilation. Step down forward from the salon to the forward stateroom, there is plenty of headroom and storage. The forward head has a separate shower stall that has an emergency access door to the engine room. Opposite of the head is the laundry room. Access to the engine room is from the salon floor panel. The engine room is very bright and clean. It is the full beam giving you plenty of room. The generators, engines, filters and watermaker are easily accessible. The seller has maintained the boat to the highest standards. The boat just returned from a multi month voyage with no issues. This President 37 is nicely equipped and will need some repairs. The engines and generator have been reliable, the owner confirms. The Simrad unit and VHF are working well. The other electronics are older and will need to be removed or replaced. The bottom was last cleaned in December of 2023 and the ablative bottom paint was doing its job. One soft area was noted on the starboard side of the aft deck. Remnants of water seepage were evident on the aft cabin starboard side walls and on the dinette wall. The walls in these areas are damp after recent rains. The forward bilge pump was not functioning. Deferred maintenance items are evident in the photos (e.g., handrails, fittings, lifelines, gel coat, seating). Don't let this one get away! The best feature of the double cabin layout is the aft deck. The deck sits above the captain's stateroom and serves as a shaded deck space, or you can close it in to form another protected space. This 1986 Marine Trader Sundeck trawler is in overall very good condition. The teak deck is in great shape and the hull appears excellent. The galley has been refreshed with new appliances. The engine and generator are up to date on maintenance with new starter motors on each. All of the bilge pumps were replaced between 2021 and mid-2023. Two out of the three air conditioners are new and feature digital controls. The third AC unit, in the V-berth, is inoperative and due for replacement. The seller uses the v-berth mostly for storage, but on the few occasions it has been used for sleeping, keeping the door open between the salon and the cabin has provided plenty of cool air. A sudden high speed wind gust while at anchor early in 2023 resulted in the original bow spirit breaking and the anchor chain dislodging into the starboard side of the stainless tube bow railing and bending some tubing. The bow spirit has been replaced with a solid fiberglass model bolted into the deck with a stout backing plate. The seller has yet to find someone to repair the railing but continues to try. The boat is listed as being a project, however it has great potential. As seen in the photos there is some minor surface rust, however the seller states the hull is structurally sound. The outdrives look to be in good operational condition and show no damage. The cabin is cluttered but shows no excessive wear and tear. The helm looks neat and functional. The bridge will need the arch installed and the deck could use new paint. The forward head needs cosmetic work. The interior needs some light cleaning and cosmetic repairs.
