Upon initial visit, the boat appears in excellent overall condition and many systems and amenities have either been replaced or upgraded. The boat is currently dry docked on the hard fully shrink wrapped and. winterized. No access at this time. Stock #267969 1987 Symbol 44 Yacht with 370 HP turbo diesel motors, Kubota diesel generator. The Symbol 44 MK II Sundeck hull construction is solid fiberglass and has a full teak interior. Below deck, the Symbol's galley-down floorplan is arranged with staterooms fore and aft, a convertible dinette, and a lower helm to starboard in the salon. A breakfast bar overlooks the galley, The boat's two heads come with separate stall showers. To enter the engine room, one simply lifts the dinette steps and crawls in. Topside, a wet bar is standard on the aft deck, and leather seats flank the centerline helm on the flybridge. One unique feature is that the exhausts are routed outside the hull in an attempt to reduce noise in the aft stateroom. This boat is powered by updated Volvo Penta TAMD 63 diesels rated at 370HP each and cruise the Symbol 44 MK II at 20 knots and reach a top speed of about 24 knots. Reason for selling is purchased a smaller boat.

1990 Symbol 57 3406B engines (Turbo) Symbol 60 Yachtfisher Originally built by Symbol Motor Yachts in 1990 as a 57’ she was professionally extended to 60’ in her earlier life to enhance her game fishing capabilities. All running gear was realigned and lengthened to ensure she was perfectly balanced underway. Upgraded to 3” x 258” 316-stainless steel prop shafts and dual A-frame and single pedestal shaft supports. The vessel underwent a total refit commencing in 2005 and taking over 2-1/2 years by its current Australian owners. The refit went down to every last nut, bolt, fitting and cable. Only the semi-displacement hull and superstructure remained original yet these underwent works including application of biaxial layers of epoxy vinylester below the waterline, redesigned fuel filling station, external shower, lower deck stowage, sink and bait prep cabinet work, built-in upper aft deck stairwell, purpose built BBQ area, exterior deck sofa and dining table layout. She was then sprayed with Awlgrip 2-pac Urethane Oyster White topcoat overall. The comprehensive inventory of stainless steel work was fully reworked and replaced, as were all the Sunbrella storm covers, sunshades and Microfibre soft furnishings. All machinery, electrical, electronics, plumbing and associated hardware, internal and external soft and hard furnishings have been upgraded with state of the art equipment & materials. Under current ownership a fulltime Marine Engineer was commissioned to oversea the refit, along with a consulting Lloyds of London Marine Surveyor & Engineer, to ensure the quality of workmanship was inline with Western Standards. The same Marine Engineer is still employed fulltime on the vessel to ensure she is maintained to the highest possible standard. (Comprehensive refit photos are available upon request)
