2008 Mastercraft 245 Salt Water Series with Indmar 400 HP engine.

Onboard is 1,000 lbs of ballast total in 2 rear tanks, 350lbs each, and one 300 lb bag. Ballast can be added over the tanks. The boat has robust pumps with impellers that can be replaced.

The VDIG is a video-screen panel on the dash with intuitive controls with great visuals for ballast configuration, water depth.
ZeroFlex tower with swivel racks.

2006 Mastercraft 245 SS Open wide and say aaahh. Used to be the only place you could catch a MasterCraft was on a ski lake somewhere 50 miles away from the nearest tidal shore. And all family cars used to be stationwagons, too. Times have changed, haven't they? MasterCrafts have open bows. They ride as well as their stern-drive counterparts. And now they're being spotted cruising the coastal waters. The primary reason may be the 245 SS, a peerless towing machine that has made the leap from protected inland boathouses to coastal marinas without a hitch. Featuring its advanced SuperFly front, pickle-forked bow, and unmatched interior layout, the 245 SS is big enough for a crew of 18, and now big enough for big water. Get used to it. - Equipped like an X-45 with ballast, stereo and cruise control. Brand new trailer!!
2006 Mastercraft MariStar 245 SS MasterCraft boats are seeing more action in saltwater, as inland skiers, wakeboarders and water sports enthusiasts relocate closer to coastal markets. Traditional saltwater boats just don?t have the same towing characteristics as MasterCraft, so it?s only natural that MasterCraft would equip these boats with the most saltwater-friendly components available. MasterCraft did not just slap a ?saltwater? engine in their current line and declare these boats saline worthy. Instead they spent hundreds of hours offshore in Florida testing components like stainless steel gas shocks, hydraulic steering, fully sealed wiring, sacrificial anodes, raw water strainers, and the Crusader engines in the roughest conditions to ensure MasterCraft is able to carry their solid reputation into this market. The SS line will increase the lifespan of vulnerable parts and help maintain MasterCraft?s excellent reputation for premium resale-ability.
The 245 SS offers a choice of Crusader 330 hp, 375 hp or 425 hp GM Vortec engines. All of the SS engines are fresh-water cooled, protected with premium multi-coat non-corrosive paint and come with composite motor mounts.
