1998 Maxum 4100 SCB A scaled-down version of the larger Maxum 4600 SCB, a low price and a sleek pilothouse profile made the Maxum 4100 SCB a good-selling boat during her production years. Sedan-style designs like the 4100 SCB have become increasingly popular with buyers in recent years thanks to their sporty appearance, open floorplans, and large cockpits. The two-stateroom layout of the SCB has the salon and galley on a single level with an elevated dinette opposite the galley. Both staterooms share a single double-entry head with a separate stall shower, and the salon includes a built-in entertainment center and a large U-shaped sofa. In the cockpit, which is shaded by the extended flybridge, molded steps lead up to the bridge deck and a transom door and shower were standard. Additional features include a cockpit wet locker, a deep swim platform, and a roomy bridge with a wet bar and sun pad. A decent performer with optional 370hp Cummins diesels will cruise the 4100 SCB at 18 knots and reach a top speed of around 22 knots.
