Info about the boat -- 2002 bought new in 2005 (it was a carryover). It has always been kept indry stack so it's in very good condition inside and out. Unfortunately, it was stored for well over a year without properly prepping the engine for extended storage. As a result, water did not fully drain and leaked through the manifolds and destroyed the engine. The engine, which was a single, 325 hp, Mercruiser with dual props has been removed.Estimated amount to install a new engine (parts/labor/testing) is $10k.The boat has been priced at $24k to allow a new owner to cover the repair. I am selling because we never use it and have now moved an hour away from the water. The boat does not have a trailer given it's size so you will need to keep it at the water.The boat is equipped with a navigation system, VHF radio, AM/FM/CD player with speakers above deck and below in the cabin, depth finder, gas gauge, and windlass anchor. The cabin has two beds (front and rear) with kitchen and dining area separating the sleeping areas. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, cooktop and sink.There is also a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. You can comfortably sleep four adults in the cabin with two kids sleeping on the bed made by removing the dinette table.There is no A/C, but the hatch windows open which kept us cool enough when we made it out.The boat is in excellent condition inside and out, just needs an engine.
2002 Maxum SCR 2400, Selling my 2002 Maxum SCR 2400 cruiser powerboat which is in great condition with very little usage and non-smoker owned. You'll be hard pressed to find a better deal. Nadaguide has the value of this boat at over $16,000, not taking into account the great condition or low hours. Up until about a month ago was always dry stored. Powered by a Mercruiser 5.0 engine which only has 120 hours on it! Interior cabin is in tip-top shape with no signs of wear. Had a survey done on it just over a month ago and spent over 3k getting anything that needs to be done including brand new bottom paint (so it's slip ready), new batteries, new risers/gaskets, having the impeller replaced and getting the whole boat cleaned/detailed. The only few blemishes is that the cabin door is missing it's door latch (which I've ordered and can include), there is one small surface gelcoat crack under mount and the upper deck upholstery is a little worn (but no tears). Comes with full Sunbrella canvas enclosure. No trailer $14000

1997 Maxum SCR 2700, 1997 Maxum SCR 2700.Looks and runs very nice. Very well maintained. I bought not too long ago, serviced and replaced many parts recently. It is a beauty and I hate to let it go.
