1987 Chris-Craft 410 Constellation The Constellation was a rare build in this 410 model. Having the classic lines and features of the much larger Constellation 500, the 410 is a variant on the 410 Commander model. The Constellation offers improved engine access as one major advantage. Powered by twin Crusader 350's for a total of 700 HP, she cruises at 15-16 knots with a top speed of approximately 24 knots. DO KNOT DISTURB comes equipped with larger shaft diameters and 24" props. With her 350 gallons of fuel, the 410s range is approximately 200 nm. Offering a spacious interior layout, the 410s flush deck profile makes her appear larger than she actually is. While her lines are obviously dated by todays Euro-glitz standards, the addition of a restyled and enlarged flybridge in 1980 enhanced her profile considerably. Inside, the accommodations are comfortable and well arranged, especially in the master stateroom where a queen berth (optional in earlier models) became standard in 1981. 1986 Carver 3207 The fact that the Carver 3207 Aft Cabin managed to remain inproduction for so many years says a lot about her popularitywith the public. Her somewhat boxy exteriorunavoidable in a double-cabin boat this sizemasks a surprisingly spacious interior with cruising accommodations for a small family. Built on a low deadrise modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam, the floor plan of the 3207 Aft Cabin was arranged with a single and slide-outdouble berth in the master stateroom and a V-berth forward. (Notethat in 1990, the master stateroom was reconfigured with a doubleberth.) The stall shower is in the forward head. A lower helmwas standard, and the salon sofa converts to a double berth. While this is an impressive layout for a 32-footer, storage space is very limited except in the galley where there are numerous drawers and cabinets. The small aft deck can accommodate a couple of folding chairs (a hardtop was not an option for this boat). Additional features include a bow pulpit, flybridge seating for three, a swim platform, and teak interior trim. A stiff ride in a chop, the cruising speed with standard 270hp gas engines is 1516 knots. That, along with its high sides, gives this boat enough room for a full head that includes a stall shower— and a roomy, versatile bi-level cockpit.The master cabin is forward, with shelf space and two hanging lockers. The enclosed head compartment is adjacent and to port. In this single-stateroom layout the galley/dinette area in the saloon is to starboard, abaft the cabin. The couch converts to a berth.The full galley is equipped with a two-burner stove, refrigerator, and shelf and counter space for storage and additional galley equipment.On deck, the steering station is to starboard on the bridge deck, with a large L-shaped lounge to port.
