The advantage of this layout is that it keeps the captain in the social center of the boat rather than isolated on a flybridge; the disadvantage is seen in the 390’s ungainly, full-bodied profile. She rides on a beamy modified-V hull with a well-flared bow, cored hullsides, and propeller pockets to reduce draft and shaft angles. Inside, the cherry-trimmed interior of the Rampage 45 boasts a spacious main salon with L-shaped lounge seating to port (with rod storage under), U-shaped galley with Corian counters and under-counter refrigeration, and three-person dinette to starboard. Forward, the master stateroom is fitted with an island berth, and the port-side guest cabin has single berths that convert to a queen. While both heads are fitted with separate stall showers, the circular shower door in the day head is a bit difficult to use. The huge, tournament-class fishing cockpit of the Rampage 45 came standard with a 36-gallon livewell, complete tackle center, engine-room access door, and two in-deck fish boxes.
