The overall condition of the 1975 Bertram Convertible 46.6 is good. The hull appears to be in good condition with no major scratches or cracks. There were a few minor stress cracks found in a small number of places. The foredeck had some chips/gouges from the anchor. Only one of the three A/C's are currently providing cooling. Seating in the flybridge consists of a captain's chair with a bench seat next to it at the helm station. In front of the helm is an additional bench seat that can seat at least 4 more adults. The aft cockpit has coaming pads, city water hook-up, freshwater washdown, 50-amp shore power connection, and storage compartments. There is a gasl fill for the gas generator that replaced the old diesel generator. A pair of sliding glass doors open from the aft deck into the salon. The salon features a newly added sofa to port with an end-table. On the starboard side are storage cabinets. Located inside one of the cabinets is the electric panel. The other cabinets have storage and a stereo head unit. The cabinets consist of tigerwood veneer a unique and rare wood gran. The lower helm is positioned at the centerline of the Bertram. It is outfitted with all the gauges and switches to monitor and run the boat. The steps to the galley are just to starboard of the helm station. The galley features two refrigerators with a small freezer area, a stainless-steel sink, a built-in blender, a 3-burner electric stove, an oven, cabinet storage, and a pantry. Moving forward down the companionway you'll find the mid-cabin stateroom with attached head to port. The mid-cabin stateroom has twin beds with storage drawers beneath each. A single nightstand is located between the beds. A large hanging closet is provided for your clothes. A private enclosed head accessed from the mid-cabin features a new toilet with a macerator, a bathroom sink, a shower stall with a folding door, and cabinet storage. Across the companionway is a second enclosed head. It is outfitted with a new macerated toilet, a sink, a shower wand, and cabinet storage. The head can be accessed from the companionway or from an entry door from the forward stateroom. The forward stateroom can sleep two with its elevated V-berth. There is drawer storage beneath the V-berth. There is a hanging closet located to port with a pull-out clothes hamper to starboard. Portholes can be found on both sides of the V-berth and an overhead opening hatch will allow in natural light and fresh air. The twin Detroit Diesel 8V71 engines provide plenty of power and torque with a cruise speed of 18 mph. The owner estimates 2000 engine hours. The original swim platform has been replaced by a larger swim platform complete with a 5-step swim ladder that can be hooked to either side of the swim platform.

The hull was sanded and painted in the summer of 2022. There are a couple of spots where paint could be refreshed on the top deck. Boat shows nicely for its age. The interior is in nice shape but could use some TLC from its new owner. All seating may need to be cleaned or replaced, as well as carpeting throughout the boat.
