The Norstar 360 is a handsome, powerful and fuel efficient yacht, designed by Gary Nordtvedt and built locally in Bellingham, Washington by Norstar Yachts to exacting standards with only the finest materials and modern construction methods.
The Norstar 36 is the quintessential luxury express cruiser, she also makes an excellent sport fishing platform with a large open cockpit, downrigger mounts, built in rod holders and teak decks. The interior is well planned with two dinettes, one up and one down opposite a large U shaped gourmet galley. Forward is a spacious master stateroom with a center line queen berth. The lower dinette converts to a comfortable double berth for occasional overnight guests.
The Norstar 36 is powered by twin Yanmar 440 hp diesels; her deep V hull provides a soft, dry ride in all sea conditions and performs just as well at 10 knots as she does at her top speed of over 30 knots. Visibility forward is excellent from two comfortable leather Stidd helm chairs. At the wheel, the Norstar responds like a well-mannered sports car, you don’t steer as much as point her and let her run.
