This 1986 oday 272 shoal draft Is ready for the water its 2ft11inch draft is great for getting into the shallow areas of the south shore. It’s equipped with a westerbeke 10-2 diesel with 947 hours. Engine runs great and sips fuel. Much of the deck hardware has been upgraded to harken products and all lines are led to the cockpit for easy sailing .The boat comes with upgraded kick up rudder new cdi roller furler , auto helm , lazy jacks, spinnaker, spinnaker pole , 2 head sails , 2 main sails , life jackets ,coast gaurd kit ,cockpit cushions and a dingy. This 1985 O'day 35 is very special in that it is rigged for racing with a larger mast and sails compared to most O'day 34/35s!
Navigation: Raymarine e7D Chartplotter connected to EV-100 Autopilot, i50 Depth, i50 Boat Speed, and i60 Wind Speed/Direction. Thus, the Autopilot can keep the point of sail, e.g. a 44 degree starboard tack, with shifting winds!
Water heater: Atwood EHM 6SM
Furling genoa: Furlex 200S
This Boat has been on the hard for the last year but put away professionally and winterized properly. The sails are at the seller's home in their own bags and are reported in good shape.
There are 1000 hours on the Yanmar diesel which is nothing for that motor. The rigging is in fair shape.

1984 O' Day 28 centerboard keel is a great American made easy-to-handle sailboat.
The aft cockpit has ample room with plenty of seating around the Helm station. Belowdecks there is a Galley to the port side and a berth to the starboard side. Center folding table with plenty of seating port and starboard side.
Forward is a split bathroom with a head to the port side, sink and vanity to the starboard passing through the bathroom forward is the V-berth which sleeps two comfortably.
The seller is very motivated to get this sold please bring all offers!!!

Cushions in the cabin will probably need be replaced as they are wet and becoming moldy. The boat needs all new lines as they are all worn out and weathered severely Don't know the condition of the sails as they are wrapped up Probably are still good but will need to be cleaned and inspected. Boat is a project at best. Did notice some softness on the deck towards the bow by the anchor locker too, which should probably need to be addressed sooner than later.
