This 1986 oday 272 shoal draft Is ready for the water its 2ft11inch draft is great for getting into the shallow areas of the south shore. It’s equipped with a westerbeke 10-2 diesel with 947 hours. Engine runs great and sips fuel. Much of the deck hardware has been upgraded to harken products and all lines are led to the cockpit for easy sailing .The boat comes with upgraded kick up rudder new cdi roller furler , auto helm , lazy jacks, spinnaker, spinnaker pole , 2 head sails , 2 main sails , life jackets ,coast gaurd kit ,cockpit cushions and a dingy. The overall condition is good for the age of the boat. There are a few chips in the glass - none appear to be anything other than cosmetic. The wind gauge functions but needs to be recalibrated or possibly replaced. The Auto Pilot does not function. The cockpit radio controls are not connected to the new stereo. The new stereo is Bluetooth and has phone app controls. The cockpit speakers are blown. Stock #358323 35' racer/cruiser, powered by a 21 HP universal diesel motor. Could make a nice Live-Aboard. The O'Day 35 Is the 34 but has an extended stern platform and ladder, two cabins, and could make a nice live aboard. The seller is the second owner and has owned it since 2001. They have sailed the boat on a local 10,000-acre freshwater lake. Based on the information provided, the previous owner has sailed to the Islands, added air conditioning and converted one of the two ice boxes into a refrigerator. The head has a shower and flushable toilet. You can accommodate 6 to 8 overnight guests with the two convertible settees and the aft berth. The bow has an anchor locker with anchor and a spare anchor is included. There are cockpit cushions, a dodger, bimini, and full canvas cockpit enclosure. The sails are original and have been refurbished once in 2002. They are stiff and well-suited for lake sailing. If it is your intent to race or island hop, you may want to replace them. 1970's Oday 14' Javelin Sailboat in good condition. The boat was stored inside for sometime and what looks like the original sails are in excellent shape, with no holes or tears. 1977 O'Day sailboat in very good condition for sale. 5 horsepower Honda long shaft outboard with very low hours. Outboard motor starts on the first pull and brings the boat to hull speed even against current. New high thrust prop on the motor. Includes original prop. Completely new shore power system with Blue Sea ELCI panel and GFCI receptacles. New DC panel and wiring. New standing rigging - replaced all 6 stays with new old stock. The 35ft mast has new wiring, a new Shakespeare antenna, new LED anchor light and new LED running light. Centerboard has a new pendant line. New Saturn bulkhead compass wired with light for night sailing. Hauled out completely scraped and painted this last November '14 with ecominder copper free ablative paint. Rudder has brand new heavy duty guntles, so the rudder is very secure. Working VHF radio. Comes with good mainsail, good hank-on jib. Porta potty in good condition included. Water system is a nice jabsco pump system with a new 25 gallon water tank. Through hull beneath galley replaced last November with a brand new covered flange ball joint with a mounting plate.
