2006 Pearson True North 38 Explorer II, This one owner Pearson Yacht True North 38 Explorer II is in immaculate condition. It has been freshwater boat from the start. All service work and maintenance has been done by Arrowhead Service Department on Grand Lake. This True North has always been on a lift and has only been in the water when underway. It also has a full custom cover with an electric winch. The boat receives a fresh coat of wax twice a year. This Pearson Yacht is ready for its new owner and still has a warranty that is transferable (10 year manufacturer warranty) for cosmetic blistering. This boat has 480 horsepower Yanmar diesel engine 6LY3-ETP with an Aquadrive anti-vibration system. It is equipped with two 110 gallon aluminum fuel tanks, as well as a 100 gallon water tank. This boat has classic lines of a fine New England boat. While this vessel is very roomy, it also has great performance and range. There are nice wide-side decks, good forward decks for easy anchoring, and is equipped with a windlass. There are large stainless steel cleats that are flush with the deck, which helps people to avoid tripping. There is a large v-berth and a nice size head with a shower stall. Most time will be spent in the cabin or salon. All hardware is stainless steel. The galley is behind the helm station. The helm station is on the starboard side and provides seating for two. There is a table for 6 that is equipped with hydraulics so that it can drop and provide a double berth. There windows are large and upon opening they provide a 360 view. The large cockpit is aft of the salon and has a transom door that opens 6 feet wide ending at the water line. It can carry dinghy's, jet skis, and more. The cabin has a flat top that provides great storage for all gear for long trips. This vessel has a single prop with a skagg to protect it. The bow thruster provides additional maneuverability. This is one of the most efficient diesel vessel's in the market today. For more information, please call Jerry Cookson at Cedar Port Marina.
