This boat shows normal wear and tear, expected for a vessel of its age. However, the original Westerbeke engine has a tendency to leak and currently does not start, possibly due to issues with the battery or starter. If the buyer chose to repower, a brand new 40HP Yanmar will cost approximately $4-5K, and installing an electric motor, that will run approx. $5-6k. We recommend that potential buyers conduct an inspection prior to purchase Stock #386759 1981 Pearson 365 cruising ketch with many updated features! Ready to sail!
