A solid vessel that was in excellent overall condition prior to sinking in April of 2021. Water only came in about 2 feet but engine needs work and it is unknown what else does or does not work in regards to electronics and the ship's functions. Sold as-is where-is. Stock #265939 This is a classic Pearson 35. Engine work is underway preparing for sale! This is a classic Pearson 35. With a shallow draft and centerboard it has good performance off the wind or clawing your way into the wind. The boat has a lot of great features including a full galley, full cockpit cover two anchors, air conditioning, GPS. However, the boat sunk in April 2021 and it is unknown what is and is not working on the boat. Currently on the hard in a do-it-yourself boatyard, this one has a lot of potential. Engine work is underway locally and all the sea cocks are being replaced. It will likely need new interior cushions but all of the old ones are available for patterns. It is a boat that with a little work could become a reliable sailing vessel again. Reason for selling is not using it.

According to the seller, this Pearson is in good shape for its age. One of the opening portholes should be replaced. The sails are all in reportedly good shape and many of the individual components and items are recently installed (see the specs in the listing). Portholes will need to be replaced. Stock #251796 Beautifully kept and ready to sail! This Pearson has been freshwater-only sailed! This 1980 Pearson 323 has been with three owners over its life and is in excellent shape. According to the seller, she has been exclusively sailed in freshwater over her life. The comfort afforded by Pearson's design layout is apparent as soon as you board. An aft helm station allows great access to the forward salon, galley, head, and separate berths, including a large V berth. The four-step stainless tube and teak companionway ladder leads below to a cabin with 6 feet of headroom, which seems large for a 32-footer. Immediately to port is the nav station and to starboard is the galley. As an option, Pearson offered a quarter berth on the port side aft of the nav station, which added a berth but eliminated the spacious port-side cockpit locker. This small but utilitarian galley is usable at anchor and underway, another good test of a functional sailboat. Forward of the partial bulkhead that separates the galley and nav-station from the rest of the main saloon are two settee berths and a table that folds up against the main bulkhead. The two settees are good sea berths. A small forepeak V-berth and compact but functional head make up the accommodations forward of the mast. The sloop's relatively wide beam (10 feet) contributes to the spacious feel in the main cabin. Reason for selling is health reasons.

Last oil change was in 2018. A full strip of the old bottom, followed by the application of 8 coats of epoxy and then anti-fouling bottom paint appears this Wanderer is good for 10+ years! This Wanderer could use some cleaning and detailing TLC to restore her to her original glory. She's sailworthy as evidenced by the pictures taken during a recent early evening sail on July 11, 2019. Give this GOOD OLD BOAT some simple attention and this Wanderer will be the toast of the harbor! Stock #183974 The original 1967 engine is an Atomic 4, 30hp gasoline, 4 cylinder, manufactured by Universal engines was rebuilt about 20 years ago A Fantastic design coupled with bullet-proof construction makes this 30-foot Pearson Wanderer a classic sailboat in the truest sense of the word. This 1967 Pearson Wanderer was personally selected and maintained by Olympic sailing gold medalist Peter Barrett, and has been lovingly kept and sailed by his son for the past two decades. This Pearson is a handcrafted, built boat from years gone buy when they were built to a different standard. She is, seaworthy enough to carry you around the world if you so desire and comfortable enough to easily cruise a young family or a couple around the bay and/or up and down the coast. The Pearson Wanderer is a more seaworthy and sea-kindly vessel than those emerging from factories today. The connected two-mast rigging system provides additional structural stability. When down, the centerboard allows excellent upwind performance. With the board up, shallow waters can be explored, or the boat can be anchored closer to shore than many otherwise similar vessels. The Wanderer model has a rare combination of big-boat heft and small-boat response, and it should be well-mannered offshore in big waves as well as in choppy bays. Maybe that's why so many voyagers choose it. The ample side decks are convenient and safe. One can move forward with security, and grabrails on the cabin top provide good handholds. Offshore, a good deck is a matter of staying on board the boat or not. The cockpit is spacious for two and can accommodate four if desired. The tiller does take up space while sailing but can be folded back out of the way come cocktail time. Sail inventory includes a cruising mainsail, roller furling genoa, spinnaker and mizzen sail. The rigging of this Pearson is solid and in full functioning condition. Reason for selling is not using enough.
