1981 Pearson 35 Brokers' Comments: The Pearson 35 is a classic Bill Shaw design with attractive lines and a long shoal keel with attached protected rudder. The keel/centerboard hull design with a draft of only 3'9" with board up provides for go anywhere capability, while the 7'6" board-down draft allows the boat to go upwind properly where other fixed-keel shoal draft boats cannot. The long cockpit makes for comfortable seating as well as lounging or sleeping areas. The wheel is forward so the helm is protected by the dodger and allows the helmsman to easily reach the sheets. This also means better communication with anyone below. RCR was a Pearson dealer from 1972 up until the time they closed their doors. Bill was a good designer and his crew built good, honest boats. Being a sailor himself who was college-trained as a Naval Architect and engineer he had an excellent grasp of what a boat needed to be practical in use. We were always proud to be Pearson dealers and their boats have proven to be long lasting and popular designs. If your desires run more toward traditional design and styling then Blown Away is worth a look. Blown Away is a Pearson 35 that is a solid coastal cruiser ready to take you anywhere in safety and comfort. diesel engine and roller furling, this is a boat that will sell quickly. You owe it to yourself to check this one out.

1966 Pearson Vanguard 32 Brokers comments:This boat is beautiful! In every sense of the words, turnkey classic head turner! "Petrel" is a Phillip Rhodes design, built for blue water cruising with a full lead keel, encapsulated inside a 2 thick solid hull. It has only been used in fresh water and continuously upgraded to yacht standards. The extensive list of upgrades is impressive! The exterior is a gorgeous blue Awlgriped hull with white stripes. The interior is spotless from the bilges to the headliner. New upholstery and varnished wood surrounds you in traditional luxury. The 4 cylinder reliable Universal Westerbeke diesel runs perfectly. "Petrel" is a complete boat from the diesel, tiller (with pilot) roller furling and large cockpit, it can take any weather safely, comfortably, easily and in style! "Petrel" will pass any survey in almost Bristol condition every system and part is practically new. It even has AC and heat! Located under a custom cover at our Buffalo, NY marina, asking far below replacement value! A must see for the sailor looking for a traditional style mini-yacht; it will not last long!

1981 Pearson Flyer Good equipment, Nice cushions below, BMW diesel runs great, Roller Furling, Good sails, Use for racing or big daysailer Price Reduced, Make an Offer Designed by Bill Shaw, the Flyer was and still remains a high performing race boat. A clean layout with flush mounted decks and a large cockpit make it a comfortable racer or daysailer. Below decks is a very spacious layout with plenty of room for sails, gear, or sleeping. The technology of this construction encompasses cored materials and a lightweight diesel. The original owner of this Pearson Flyer customized her, and was recognized by an article written in the Pearson's Newsletter in the early 80's. All deck hardware is located amidships for easy sail trim. All lines & halyards lead aft through the five additional blocks that are mounted on the custom stainless steel mast collar. The Main Controls, Cunningham, Boom Vang, Reef Lines & Outhaul lines then travel back through cheek blocks to secondary winches via halyard stoppers. The pole downhaul leads to jam cleats in the cockpit. The Boom is modified to allow flattening and the number one reef to run free. An internal line is run for a secondary reef. Two running backstays (4:1) were added. Mounted on a pod above the companionway is the digital depth sounder, log & wind indicator. An ice chest was added in place of the port side galley area down below. An Elanco seacock was installed for the galley sink, which produces a flush surface when closed eliminating any drag. In addition, all thru-hulls were especially install by reaming out the balsa core for ½ inch and filled in with glass and resin & packed from the interior hull surface with matt and resin under the securing nuts so that the units would be flush with the hull surface and eliminate any moisture penetrating into the balsa core.

1991 Pearson 3GM30F Bill Shaw knew how to design boats that were sea worthy, fast yet comfortable. The 1991 34 is an example of these qualities. Her layout above and below decks is efficient  and stylish. This particular vessel has been well maintained and is well equipped, even for short handed sailing. Touches like: self tending jib, low combing cockpit, dinghy davits are just a few of the features both standard to the boat as well as owner added. Her wing keel provides a 4 foot draft for getting into those favorite yet shallow ports. She also features a 3- piece canvas winter cover. As lovely a boat as she is, she needs some woodwork on her teak and holly cabin sole. The owner has been re-located to the West Coast and is not able to get the work done at this time. She has been priced accordingly.  Please call our office to make an appointment to see this very desirable vessel.
