1980 Pearson 28
The Pearson 28 is a sloop rig with fin keel, spade rudder and keel stepped mast. Pearson has a reputation for fine construction and this is one of William Shaw’s most successful designs. The Pearson 28 is a perfect cruiser/daysailer fit for any budget, comfortable for a couple or small family, capable of competitive racing and can easily be single handed. She has a nice teak salon with recently redone blue/white ticking cushions on her port and starboard settees. Her compact galley has an ice box, SS sink and storage. She has a private forward V-berth with storage, an adjacent marine head with holding tank, sink and vanity. Her auxiliary power is an 11-HP Atomic Diesel Model 5411 that powers her at 6 knots in smooth water and uses very little fuel.
